Once upon a time...we were just like you! Dreaming of planting roots in a home we could call our own so we could experience the joys of making memories and ultimately have financial peace. Our excitement quickly turned into stress when it came to finding a home that checked enough boxes, figuring out how to afford a home (and everything that comes with it), and finding an agent we could genuinely trust.
We found the statistic to be true - most people feel like real estate agents come off like used car salesmen. But we didn't need a salesperson - we needed an advocate, financial and marriage counselor, real estate coach and lifelong friend who truly cared about us...even more than a paycheck. So, after going through a myriad of different agents when looking for our first home in 2013, we looked at each other and made the determination that we can do this...but we can do it even BETTER!
Now, with over 14 years of combined experience in several top brokerages and teams including hundreds of inspections, tours, and contracts, millions of dollars in real estate sold, and numerous lives impacted, we have developed a boutique referral-based model that is different than anything else you will find - one that is client-focused and less agent-centric. We are passionate about showing the love by truly caring, encouraging and supporting others, especially those unsung heroes who work hard doing often thankless jobs. Those unsung heroes to us are MOMS - single moms, special needs moms, adoptive moms, moms struggling with infertility and loss, stepmoms...all different kinds of moms.
This hits close to home because we are special needs parents ourselves, Kaitlyn's little sister lost her life through an abusive ex-boyfriend as a single hardworking mom, and her mom has been a single mom and is now taking care of her young grandson. Needless to say we have a soft spot for moms who sacrifice so much for their kids / future kids that we had to find a way to practically love, care and encourage them.
So, a portion of the proceeds from real estate sales, furniture and retail sales plus design revenue goes towards blessing local nominated moms with mini home makeovers, mortgage support, local events, pick-me-ups and words of encouragement. Be a part of a rare and rewarding cause by donating solid wood furniture, participating in our local events and fundraising, as well as nominating and encouraging the moms who inspire you every day.
